In an often harsh and critical world

One is often faced with unjust criticism and condemnation

From the way we dress to the people we assosciate with

Can lead to harsh words said without much consideration

People are often blinded

To the good that exists in others

Instead they can be quite negative

Always looking for faults and failures

Thankfully in Christ there is no condemnation

We are loved unconditionally

We are no longer slaves to guilt and oppression

We can live in freedom and liberty

God is the only righteous judge

We do not need to live with guilt and constant judgement

We can rest in the knowledge that we are forgiven

Totally free and accepted

Knowing this we can take a stand

And not be consumed by unfair criticism and condemnation

For God holds our lives in His hands

And in Him we can live in perfect liberation
