and it’s hard to understand your reason why.

Was it me or did you find some other guy?

I think we could have worked it out.

That we had what it would take.

To be the couple people talk about.

But I guess that’s my mistake.

You left without a single word goodbye.

No note to let me know where you have gone.

I wish that you’d give us another try.

Yet I have to face the truth that I’m alone.

Why, damn it why couldn’t you tell me.
