A poem on love, remembrance and memories. A poem on the sacred bond of marriage.

As dusk falls

And colours fuse in the sky

I light up…

It’s time to pack up the day

How I’d been waiting to say

I love you…

I want to say it today

I want to feel everyday

I love you…

There’s a flicker in my heart

A twinkle in my eye

My world is all cosy

My life is all rosy

I want to fly home

Your home, my home…our home

As dusk falls, I remember our vows

They caress me once again

Always something to gain

I’m home now

It’s almost night

I look up at the sky…

And you smile down below

Hugging me tight…

I know..I know

Even from above

There’s no greater love

There’s no greater love.
