Times have been tough for many family’s lately. Some are loosing their homes because they lost their jobs. Many family’s are becoming homeless. Some are forced to live in friends or relatives homes or garages. Hopefully all of those misplaced family’s find a place to call home again.

housing peril
fancy that in our land
low income people must be overjoyed
knowing they have to be blatently happy
existing where they do
sometimes living in a run down apartment or house
sometimes in a friends or relatives house or garage
but many times on the streets or a homeless shelter
but where can we go from where we are now
when our money doesn’t last
no matter how we try to stretch it
yet nobody is willing to give us a shot
so I guess it’s all true
there’s no home for the less fortunate
there’s no decent home for the low income
especially when your income is based on a disability
the disability forever there
like a broken light bulb
hanging over your head
