You are gone.
The wooden vessel bares your mark on
My arm, the black smudge you left on
Me is kept in my heart, but only after
Finding that there is nothing else I want
My ship will never sail and the waves
May never move and the long picture
Across my skin always reminds me
That you were once there
Tall flowers are ruined by the hammers
That come to crush me in my stride, left
At the ball all alone with no one to dance
With because the man in green skin came
And took you away
I told you that Im sorry, I let go of my
Sinful story and the epitome of my
Harm to you and you rebuked me to
The end
Secret lust that has kept the greater
Man bound, has pushed away the
Greater love that has been pushed
Right by our eyes and Im staring
From a far table at your ignorance
Of me
I will say it one last time, the apology
From the regret of everyman, the loss
Of heart that day I realized you walked
Away and the deep pain in knowing
You are no longer there for me
