NO MATTER WHAT
No matter what may happen
my Lord God is always there
to guide me and to comfort me
and let me know He cares
about my journey through this life,
what e’er I’m going through
and whispers softly to me
what He knows I need to do…
But it is up to me to follow Him
so I won’t get lost,
on the wrong path, do the wrong things;
It’s for this He paid the cost,
redeemed me from my brokenness
and blazed for me the way
to live with Him and be with Him
in His Kingdom someday.
When I am lonely and alone
He reaches out and comforts me.
He lights the darkness in my life
and helps my eyes to see
all those blessings all around me,
all the wonder of His grace;
And when I’m feeling much afraid
He is my hiding place.
He is my rock and my foundation.
He loves me and He cares
and He will never leave me or forsake me;
my Lord God is always there.
