I once was a jaded person. I met someone that highly impacted me and my life.

Think I can no longer go on
Weary, mind, body, and soul
Pleading for a release from this life
Hoping judgment is quick
“Fake people to the left,”
“Scorned, jaded, to the right.”
The line I am to travel stretches on for miles…
Walking to my final hope, death
Respite from this Hell on Earth,
My life.
Jolted into reality once again
Suddenly, gray becomes white
Day is now night
Renewed sense of sanity
Held to this life by the strength
Found in you.
No more darkness, tears
Only light, laughter
Living, loving with you forever

I like it, it has a commentary point of view and hints at a deeper level of inspiration than perhaps you’re letting on. Cool. Thanks for sharing.
