But the world rejects me…

Doesn’t want to even acknowledge the person who is me.

Many walk on by…

Right through the soul laying before them…

No one hears me as I cry out in pain.

Just another causality of society…

I am riddled with the bullets of despair…

Blanketed with the stink of failure…

And no one seems to care.

I’m just a faceless stranger that they can barely see…

Tossed crumbs of pity as they walk away.

Not hearing the pleads that falls from my lips…

I’m just a symbol of what they too might one day be…

I am everything that they want to continue to not see.
