In this place of music.

Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh

In this place of music,

a choir begins to sing;

a harmony of tolerance

and love that’s taken wing.

A thousand voices ringing,

to a world that has no light;

with the simple truth that

our hearts have taken flight.

Write you souls sweet symphony,

all you who would be heard;

the world in need of beauty

wants not to be disturbed;

by the sound of poets wisdom,

for we all have much to say

and all emotions been swept aside

by a world dismayed.

So, paint them pretty pictures

of how beauty is all around;

tell them tales of sorrow,

of love that’s in the ground.

Give them pause to think about,

the world beyond their kin

and when they finally quiet;

we’ll bring them all back in.

And build an earthly Shangri-la,

a heaven on this plane;

a vibrant temple of delight,

without the threat of pain.

A chance to see the beauty

in a cold December sky,

or see the world so differently

through their neighbors eye.

So, sing out all you voices,

who long to start anew;

and somehow, all together

we’ll show the world some truth.

    A nice interweaving of different elements to make a whole. The photo is of one of my favorite paintings.

    Yeah, Van Gogh is one of my favorite painters; thanks for the read. By the way never mind the email, it’s Triond doing weird things.
