Conflict looms close to war as choices are made in our capitol.

UNKNOWN

Horizon looms before us thick with choking smoke,

‘Tis not war I see yet, ’tis the leadership joke,

They pillage, they plunder, and say ’tis good for we,

Sounds like the battle’s started – we must now all see,

Let loose the hounds of hell and then the dogs of war,

Let’s cut and slash the dregs from this the monstrous whore,

From this land, from these hills, from beloved beaches,

Anywhere that his evil corruption reaches,

Will bullets be a-flying, bombs drop from the air?

I know not what will pull the monster from his lair,

To release this land, let great men come from good men,

Take lesser men from power and fan freedom’s wind.
