This is a poem about man’s inhumanity to man and Mother Earth. They don’t learn the lesson of the Biblical past and will never learn…ever!

God commanded the waters
to separate from land, for man
and woman to live and thrive–

Man a harbinger of destruction,
true to his calling, a menace to
Mother Nature, a traitor to Father
Time, combined.

God planted a seed, his Universe
calm in the architecture of design.
It’s very much alive, more within than
out we see as illusion we wreck with
thoughts so impure.

Illusions we create with such minds
now materializing in our virtual reality.
Look, see the chasm, between where
we stand and where we sit, lie down.
All water where once we walk atop!

Now into Water World we evolve like
fish once the Polar ice melts, the seas
rise to reclaim lands, a foretaste the
tsunamis bare their ugly fangs!

Where our Paradise again is lost,
there shall Water World surround us.
Mother Earth, confounded with fears,
her off springs submerged with her tears!

Thanks for the comments friends, Girsishpuri, Rosettaartist, Juny and Sheila. Just felt the anguish over deaths in the thousands and still so many unaccounted for in the recent powerful typhoon that brought massive floods in its wake.
