A poem written by a group at a loved one’s funeral.

~~None the less~~

As you have always known,

And as we have always shown,

We have always loved you, no matter how much we have grown.

None the less, you have cared for us all these years,

And now, we may only share tears,

For the one we’ve loved so long,

For the one we’ve always loved, is gone.

None the less, we must return the favour.

We must deal with you’re behavour,

And we must now take care of you.

Thats what we all said,

But the day you bowed you’re head,

And didn’t wake back up, we knew.

None the less, here we are. You and all of us.

You always wanted it to be this way,

“All together” you would say,

But nobody could foretell this day, nobody even knew

Of the disease that was slowley taking you.

None the less, it has happened, we all stand before you’re deathbed.

Sadness gripping are hearts, a feeling that is new.

And we relized who we loved the most… And he was you.
