the northern lights from afar,
looking like a heavenly star,
colours so bright,
shine like gold,greens and blue to behold,
the northern lights flash through the night,
across the sky a haze so mighty and bright,

it is so cold as we go north,
but we are a legend to behold,
the nothern lights that shine of gold,
the arctic air that is so fresh,
i can see my own true breath,

the northern lights are here all day,
and play all night i know they say,
forever aglow, a tale to hold,
close to me i see,
northern lights flash past my nose,

they are as great now i know,
the northern lights,
so bright and gold.
