We through prayerful consideration cope
Our equipment?
A proper purpose, a biblical compass, and a guiding light that grows in intensity,
With these we lay claim to the value of hope
In an amongst a world of Godless and therefore hopeless souls
We selflessly give out of love and share
the encouragement of God’s word that like salvation’s rope
Exercises faith and fulfills our roles as kingdom proclaimers
We are aware of the treacerous path
The slings, burning arrows, and Satan’s dance
Of suffering, financial stings, and unforeseen circumstance
Still we joyfully note
That if we reach for him, take notice of him,
for Jehovah actively grope
