Hindsight would make you do alot of things differently.

Breaking your heart

was not my goal

with a little hindsight

I would have let you go

rather than lead you on

and do your poor heart wrong

it was never my intention

to cause you hurt

your love was always pure

it was not what you deserved

some times you cant do right for wrong when someones feelings get hurt, love can be quite painful, torture even.

sometimes we tend to hurt those we love not because we want to ..but for reasons only we can comprehend.
