Aabout male predators and what’s left when they’re done.

It’s so much easier to paint it black. It makes everything seem so much more just.
At the end of the day, they don’t want her. It was simple. It was lust.
Don’t you prefer to paint it black? See the monster in a shade you can trust.
The child has earned some peace.
Little bits of something that was broken before he got there.
He broke her with such ease.
Can we please just paint it black? Forget kindness that preceded this cruelty.
Gray is a kindness that comes at too high a price.
They’ll lay her down and then forget their dutey.
Just this once, can we paint it black?
Can we show the creature in its true light?
She’s been dispensable, disposable and tasted.
She has been touched. Forever, she is tainted.
Why the hell can’t we paint it black?

powerful, honest, good use of repititon, wonderful description of the emotional scars left from such atrocity
