A cat that won’t go out.

You think I am going out in that,
I will just come back through my cat flap.

I just spent three hours cleaning my silky fur.
It’s raining cat’s and dog’s excuse the pun,
but I think I have won.
now my fur is ruffled as I set of on the run,
up the stairs showing you my bum.
Into you’re bedroom I shall go.
You’re huffs and puffs are heard from below,
I won’t go out tonight you know.
It’s nice and warm and best of all not a rain drop in sight,
as I kneed and purr with all my might.
Face it I won the fight,
I am not going out tonight.
When you come to bed and shoo me off the bed,
I sit and stare instead.
You roll you’re eyes,
as if to say that’s no surprise.
You reach down and stroke under my chin,
my purring begins,
guess what I think I win!
