Being Someone I’m not.

I’m not what you think I am

I don’t think I ever was

I tried to give you everything

Yet it never was enough

You always wanted more of me

Way more than I could ever be

And even though I tried it seemed

That I could never fill your dreams

So I have stopped pretending

To be something I am not

For what you see before you

Is all that I have got

And it may not be glamorous

Yet I don’t give a damn

Because I will not ever be

Who you think I am.

Always be yourself with bad and good things. It’s good adivice I ever got. If they don’t like me the way I am, that’s too bad. Thanks for sharing.

Always be yourself. Don’t change or compromise your values for anyone. Sometimes you will come across men who make you doubt yourself in order for you to adapt to their little mold of what they think is perfection.
