And it doesn’t.
Nothing lasts forever.
Only remains of endless change,
Souls connected then souls unchained,
Souls divided and bathed in pain,
Souls that hurt to feel again.
With bodies entwined that then divide,
As broken parts leave this world behind,
Leave elemental times behind,
Leave those times you tried behind,
Leave broken records of time behind.
(… And with all you do keep this in mind.)
Now it’s all coming back to me.
Like waves breaking over me.
Like canute’s in side of me.
Holding Tides desperately.
Drowning in desire, hoping I’d be,
The one to make the difference,
So I can die happy.
