Personal poetry, love poem.
One deep breath after another
Trying to calm my fanatic heart
You said forever and ever
And that never shall we part
So where are you now,
When I need you the most?
Where are you lying?
Was all your love a boast?
Every time you leave my soul screams
I crave your presence beside me
I gave you my heart and its lock
And only you have its key
Every word you whisper while I sleep
Safe and silent in your bed
And every time you don’t return
I recall the words you said
Waiting up for your arrival
I hear the door creak late into the night
With your mussed up hair and black eyes
You are quite a sight
You lie and say all is fine
The pain thick in your voice
I know you were fighting
You cradle me with a hoist
You tell me not to worry
I know you were fighting for us
Lost in your eyes, I believe
You do as you must
As I fall asleep you whisper again
Your love and pain a dragonfly’s song
Quite and flittering your voice fills
And I know you could never be wrong
Red-crystal eyes and white pearl skin
You’re perfect in every way
I tell you I love you
And there is nothing more to say
