Now Its Time

you felt me coming upon you 

like the blade

            through your battered armor

you can take the blame

            but can you take the pain?

I’ll swallow, chew and spit you out

I  snapped the edge

             of my blade above your crown

splitting you in half

            leaving you stare in my eyes

its all you know

its your sorrow            its your pain

its cold as ice   when there’s no flame

the endless stare before me

            I will ever know
