All about risking to what lies ahead.
Should I take a flight as what Icarus did?
Made wings of his own, tried to battle the unknown
Should I imperil all I own, so I can fly,
In such intrepidity will I ever touch the sky?
Can this will be enough, that I might grasp
What lies beyond, find retort in oblivion?
Can this quest ponder the unfathomed,
or unlock the mystery of doom?
A malady amidst a celebration perhaps,
Or a perfidy amongst king’s knights?
Shall I conquer what engulfs my soul,
Or should I relish the tang of defeat?
Alas, I came out undone
Succumbing sorrow now I bear,
Bludgeoned by fear, an outcast will I be?
I have nowhere to turn except to Thee…
