Today a body of a person with such love will be laid to rest.
As I watched procession of score times ten pass by while I waited for them to pass through the intersection, I couldn’t help but wonder.
Did this soul now gone from earthly domain know they were loved?
Did each and everyone taking time during a week day to see the entombment six feet below let this one know that they were so loved?
Tears streamed from my face thinking of how often people really tell one another that they are loved and matter.
Almost home passing the cemetery where this body is being shown tribute, yet another procession with same intent finds my path within minutes.
The universe has a way of showing you things when they need to be shown.

When is the last time you told those you care about that you love them and appreciate all they mean to you?
When was the last time a kiss on a cheek, touch of a hand or warm embrace found the ones that really matter to you?
Flashes in my mind back now five years ago when I told my mother in unconscious state a message of love in her ear and a week later she was gone.
Or nine months ago when my grandmother in chemically provided coma state heard my love message and moaned acknowledging my presence.
I gave her permission to find release into waiting loved ones arms and with a kiss upon her forehead, she found release.
And even still my father’s girlfriend yet three weeks later was taken suddenly with only an hour of distress.

Take heed those who read this, show love to all that mean something to you for we are not promised tomorrow or even this evening.
Life is what we make of it as you often hear me state, but like passengers on a subway train, some arrive and leave with each stop along the way.
The key is to enjoy our time together along the way and never fail to thank those who have been there for you, love you, encourage you, even help you to be the person you are today and are evolving into even now.
