Letting a loved one slip away to the other is so difficult.
An ocean of sadness slaps away at my heart
It is saying that we really must part
You have been walking too long in the dark
It is your time now to be with God
Your grip is loosening as I hold on
I know deep inside it wont be long
I try and keep you here with all my might
but I feel myself giving in to what is right
