Humorous poem about a button.

I have a little button.

It fell off my coat.

I used to look quite splendid.

Now I look like a goat.

Because it’s Bad, it’s Bad,

To have a missing hole.

I just don’t feel the same

Without my button, don’t you know?

My button is silvery.

It looks so very cool.

But now it’s off my coat,

I just can’t go to school.

Mom, please sew my button.

It’s very important to me.

Otherwise, I’m going to pout

And stay up in a tree.
