As a young teen/geek/nerd/(insert label here) I have written what I feel to be the stereotypical label of the “nerd”.
When a teen gets home from a long day of life,
it doesn’t trifle with family or goings on outside,
but then why would it when in the corner of its’ room
is a 160 GB compyuuta with old school ‘DOOM’
So, who needs real life?
In the world online it can be whatever it wants,
it can be a fighter or a chef with the change of the font,
Love’s not an issue with a pixelated character,
either way they look the same so it really doesn’t matter.
So, who needs a girlfriend?
“no n00bs can beat me i T-bag em on the floor,
Iite i am the shiznit the 733t3st of em all,
even the most 733t haxors fear my mighty rawr
cos i bone own n pwn them then disappear for pr0n.”
So, who needs to be understood?
At the end of it all the chances are,
If asked to go outside
It’ll bring some sort of gaming thing
or iPod for the ride.
So….
So, isn’t it all just grass and trees?
What’s so great about reality?
If wanting to escape this world is crazy…
then leave me to my insanity…
