A very random poem about my journey to buying a bottle of chocolate milk today.
I went to Dunkin Donuts
to order some breakfast.
I was about to leave when she
yelled, choco milk!
a thirst grew in my throat,
but already it was too late
all throughout the day I dreamed
of gleaming brown delight
until at Kordian’s Market, my mommy said to me:
you want a choco milk? go get one, but you pay me.
so now I sit here writing,
drinking choco milk,
and knowing that this poem doesn’t flow
like my yummy choco milk
