This a heart felt poem written by a teenage sister to her older brothers.
Brought into this world by my mother
My protectors, bodyguards, idols, heroes…
MY BROTHERS
With their rough love and soft sense of humor
Like my life in human form
they mean more than the world to me
Tackle them, I get tackled back
Play fight to prepare me for hard times
Just some more rough love
That’s my brothers
The jokes they crack on me out of love
It may hurt but I always find the courage to laugh
I know they don’t mean it
Yep, my brothers
Very successful, makes me look up to them
Making it through
With a cap on their heads and a degree in their hands
I realize I want to accomplish that too
Loving their style
The outfits they throw together I admire a lot
Just my older brothers
Every boy I mention is stupid to them
I’m starting to agree
But that’s their way of keeping me from them
And them from me
That’s their way of protecting
MY BROTHERS
