An Ode to the beach. I grew up in Cannes, and feel it is a very importent part of all our lives. All the people who have lived next to the beach will understand this poem I have written straight from my heart.
Ode To The Beach by Raphael LevyA place were happiness, beauty, and laughter strive. The sun shining on the sand like stars in the sky.I love the sun that’s so bright, I want to belike him so high and might. The soft white sand rubbing on my back. The heat burning my stomach. To the ocean I run, I swim in a sea as blue as the sky on a cloudless day. Then, out I come and the fresh smell of seafood from nearby restaurants overwhelms me.The salty taste of the ocean still in my mouth, I head back to my spot in the sand. The sound of people playing talking and laughingis never ending. The soft touch of the wind caressing my skin. The afternoon has come, joggers and swimmersare back.People start packing, and leaving. The disappointed fisherman throw their nets onelast time desperately trying to catch something. The sun hides away behind the gray mountains. A great shadow overwhelms the beach and the last people start leaving. Oh beach you are so great.A place were all different people are welcomeand united.Wether actor, fisherman, or doctor, you accept everyone and everyone accepts you.The beach is a place were all dreams come true.A place were all dreams come true.
