Funny thing about this poem is that I started writing it about something else but it sort of ended up this.
Let me get right to the point
Direct is the only way
To go about saying what I want to say.
Are you listening now?
Really? Are you sure?
Oh maybe first we should check if the window’s secure
Well now that that is done lets move right along
Hmm, are you sure that there is nothing wrong?
Oh I just remembered, I was going to make tea
What is that I see outside? Look at this huge bee!
Now, speaking of bees I remember once,
having honey so good that it made me bounce
You know as a child I loved bouncy castles
My mom didn’t like them, she thought they were hassles
I guess she was right, mothers tend to be
I almost forgot about our trip to the sea
I was going to show you pictures but the thought escaped my mind
There’s so much going on in my head it’s scary what you would find
You have to leave? Oh that’s just sad!
If I didn’t know you were busy I would be really mad
I’m glad that our time was very well spent
I’m just upset by how quickly it went.
Well goodbye for now
Hope to see you soon
I can’t believe we chatted away the afternoon
Now it’s evening time almost time for bed
But I feel like something wasn’t really said…
