About the journey of life…

Life is an endlessly enacted saga with no second takes
The symphony out of the notes of smiles, giggles, laughter
And the soft tones of sobs, choked or muffled ,
Silently wept tears whispering in trickles on blazing cheeks of crimson
Every day brings nascent moment that emerge from chrysalis
Or from the womb of the oyster of the morrow
Life has come a long way from the grills of cradles
And the virgin footstep of infantile hesitancy
Innocence is tainted and honesty a wilted faded rose
The fragrance of which faintly lingers but is oft masked
Bartering endlessly in the world with all for sale
Be it incandescent dreams or softness of love
The deceptively genuine emotions and tender care of all
All can be acquired by paying in cash or kind
Tears of helplessness for the satiety of masochists
False praise for those seeking flattery
A kind word for the grieving, a joke to kill boredom and sorrow
We lose a day and learn a small lesson of the tutor life
And half way in life we know that much remains yet
To gain and to lose in this worldly market
Chandeliers of hope to be shattered by the gales of reality
And castles of promises to be mingled in sands by waves of adversity
Life has many tears and smiles yet in its pockets
And with closed eyes we must pick out our prizes…
