Of Jesus

Here, the poet describes the virtue of Jesus Christ.

PRAY TO HIM THE ONLY ONE

WHO IS THE SIGN OF A GLOWING SUN

WHO SHINES BRIGHTLY WHERE LIGHT IS DIM

THE SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD’ PEOPLE CALLED HIM

HE WAS THE SON OF GOD

‘THE SON OF DAVID’ TO HIM THE PEOPLE CALLED

HE ADVISED THE PEOPLE TO SIN NO MORE

AND HE FORGIVED THPSE SINS THEY HAD DONE BEFORE

HIS HEART WAS IMMENSLY KIND

ANOTHER LIKE HIS NO ONE COULD EVER FIND

ONE THING I TELL YOU TO THINK AND MIND

THAT HE GAVE SIGHT TO THOSE WHO WERE KIND

WE CALL HIS HEART ‘THE SACRED HEART’

FROM WHERE LOVE AND KINDNESS WOULD NEVER PART

HE HAD IN HIS PRAYERS GREAT POWER

AND MANY SINNERS BEFORE HIM WERE MADE TO COWER

BUT WHAT WAS NOT AWAITED

WAS HIS TERRIBLE FATE

THAT HE WAS NAILED ON THE CROSS

AND THE WORLD HAD A GREAT LOSS

BELIEVE IN HIM I SAY

FOR, HAPPINESS IN YOUR LIFE HE WOULD BRING MAY

SO YOU ALL FRIENDS OF MINE

IF WE BELIEVE IN HIM, WE WILL ALWAYS BE FINE

Jesus was but a man who himself was a victim of the cult which intended to use its astrology and ritual to bring into the world a “holy” being, and Jesus was their little experiment and they raised him to believe that he was indeed a holy being. But when he got into trouble and reality intervened even he came at the last moment to grasp the stark reality that a (non-existant)God was unable to rescue him: “Father why hast thou forsaken me”. And now YOU my friend are a further victim of those who do not wish to learn of the universe and reality as it really is,but have been conned into following an artificial reality.
