And the truth came tumbling down…

Vote for me and I’ll set you free

Give me your trust and you will never regret it

Vote for me and I’ll make you proud

Lend me your ear and the truth shall be told

Vote for me and I’ll stamp out hunger

Never give up the faith, just keep on running the race

Vote for me and I’ll carry the burdens of the people

No taxes will ever be raised at the expense of the poor

Vote for me and everyone will have affordable health insurance

I will be a man for all people and a force to be reckon with

Vote for me and I will live up to every word coming out of my mouth

Now that I am in position, I have come to the realization that it’s

going to take more time then I thought

We the people trusted you. Yes, but you knew I was a politician

They say
A politician shakes
Ones hand
Prior to being elected
Then he shakes
Every ones confidence
Once he is finally elected.

The fault is not his
Poor ones are we
In our perception
Hope also in
Inaccurate evaluation

A politician is a politician
Everyone knows
How can he look after everyone?
I suppose.

Except his own few
