Of monotony

Monotony he says

I only ask of you,

Oh Lord,

Give me the strength,

To encourage people

To be positive.

As I do so I seek,

Your pardon,

For my over indulgence

Some friends get bored,

 Reading poems,

Others love to read,

 Only poems.

 So I have now undertaken,

 To write articles,

 For a selected few.

 Some friend wants a break,

 I therefore so take.

 So that the inborn,

 Stereo typed monotony,

For a while I could break.

I had thought of it earlier too,

 As I compose,

 No less than hundred poems,

 From Triond I shall take,

 A sabbatical,

 Which my friend,

 Now I force upon you.

Now you have come to terms what others have dictated; it is the reality also.

You can carry on writing poems, and write articles as well.

I hope you continue to write poems and articles in the future. This poem reflected the human emotion of monotony very well, and it was anything but monotonous. Well done!
