Poem for Language Arts class involving assonance. See if you can find the assonance!

Son, thee must prove thyself worthy
For a mighty king thee will be.
I feel my aging the greater
And death I will soon see.

The three dragons of Terror
Lie directly to our east,
You’re free to choose which dragon to slay
For you, I could do this at least

Ready your equipment by nightfall
Dragon fire they must resist.
Plenty of advice I’m sure you’ll hear,
But drinking the dragon’s blood you must desist.

This deed has been done in earlier times
And brings back a horrible memory.
Years before you were born
There were only two dragons of the Terror Tree.

Then began a task much like yours today
Indefinitely the great warrior would succeed
And return with the evil dragon’s head,
But not even I knew of his evil deed.

A beastly dragon he turned into
And with Magicians I did soon plea.
Nightly, I’d gather herbs galore
But never did we find the right recipe.

Please receive this message hard and well my son,
For what a horrible fate did he fare
Just remember this message as you love me
Of the Dragon’s Blood Beware!
