The thoughts of a new mum trying to help her newborn child.

You cry, you cry louder

I don’t understand, oh please stop your crying

I have fed you, cuddled and held you

bathed you and changed you

oh please stop crying little one

I’m trying so hard

I want to help you, I really do

oh this is just hell

help me, please someone help

Oh please stop crying little one

I wish you could talk, just one word

but I’m so frustrated, i know it sounds absurd

I want you to disappear just for a short moment

I can’t think, I can’t hear

oh please stop crying little one

Such familiar feelings. My two sons are all grown up now but I will never forget their crying times. It made me feel so helpless. Good work.

It is tough to make it through the day when your baby has nothing to say, but WAAHHH! Your words and worries come to life on the screen.
