Oh Shy Little Kid

I found this poem I wrote in high school and wanted to share it because it helped me through some tough times.

Oh shy little kid you feel no one cares.

Oh shy little kid you feel unattractive.

Oh shy little kid you feel you will never be free.

Oh shy little kid you think everyone is laughing.

Oh shy little kid you feel nervous all the time.

Oh shy little kid you always feel embarrassed.

Oh shy little kid you want everyone to go away.

Oh shy little kid you feel it will never get any better.

But look at me now, because I was once a shy little kid.
