You Just Gotta Love It.

Hiding there in shadows

with masks upon their face

they linger in the hallways

of this creative place

Like bullies on the playground

they try to start a war

pushing all the buttons, yet

it’s such a freaking bore.

They contribute nothing

but, still, they claim to be

geniuses and writers

for all the world to see.

Petulant little creatures

who long to pick a fight

they hover o’er their keyboard

through the day and night.

Run along little children

I’m much too tired to play

you see, bigpapa’s been working

and it’s been a very long day.

You just put together two back to back smack downs and they were both done eloquently! I loved both of your poems.

Is the only thing you can do is write poetry? Hope you don’t quit your day job.
