The Weeping Willow Tree Has always been my favorite tree. The spirit of this beautiful tree calls out to me.

Oh Willow Tree…Why Do You Weep ?
Oh Willow Tree you speak to me
Your Majestic beauty
Your branches soft and flowing toward the ground
Weeping softly
Why do you weep, Oh Willow tree?
Are you crying for me?
When I was a little girl
I hid myself under your canopy
Your weeping branches sheltered me from the world
I lay under you and I would cry
People were so cruel and I could not understand why
I couldn’t bare to see people in pain
I thought that I should be able to take it all away
I felt the weight of the world on my shoulders
and some times it became more than I could bare
Your weeping branches kept me safe
Until I was again able to come out and be brave
I think oh willow tree
That you are a lot like me
You see an injured soul
and you want to make them feel safe
You see pain and suffering
and you want to take it away
And you weep
so that you can provide shelter to those who are in pain
