Pondering life at one moment at the beach.

OLD MAN WEATHERED

As I sat alone and pondered,

Old Man Weathered who had wandered,

Growing to a great, ripe, old age,

Standing tall, an oversage,

Cast down by storms and sent asea,

He sailed and floated beyond the lee,

Coming to rest upon this shore,

To wander not forever more,

Old Man Weathered had seen the world,

I sat and pondered this wood so burled.
