Today is February 07, 2012. In English, French, Swahili, German and Kirundi, you say Seven, Sept, Saba, Sieben and Indwi. Seven is the number of the Lord for the seventh day of the week is Sunday.
Seven like a roof,
on top of us,
to protect as from
water.
Sept like September,
entrance to school,
to spend nine months,
looking for a new life.
Saba to remember,
the alert to cover,
ourselves from
infamous bites.
Sieben to know,
what the apple
reserves us,
to digest for the hard
labour.
And Indwi, to know
that the end result,
is to meet on a Sunday,
all dressed up for the
feast.
