Whimsical romance.

As you look out to sea
with those dammed eyes –
as cerulean as the sea.
Perfection is a deceitful little cheat,
that falsely shows you kindness, isn’t it?
Could you only allow the dam to break,
and purify your tortured heart
with the calm cooling waters that is my kiss,
and the rivulets of my gentle touch.
To un-dam those dammed eyes,
to a clearer fraction of blue,
and a lighter hue of love, my love
Perhaps then,
your broken insides can be bathed,
to thrive again
and allow to shine that smile,
hidden at the clouded corner of your mouth,
against the glacial wall of my heart
that you have melted into the sea.

So, I answer.
