Poetry.

siren’s call of island dreams
summer colors on ocean’s breeze
sheets of liquid glass
of gentle blues and lesser greens
caress the edges of a gleaming shore
steady path down water’s edge
footprints made on virgin sand
water laps at questing toes
setting sun ducks its head
crimson streaks; shades of red
softer pinks edge the gray
cooling breezes; palms gently sway
lazy days and sexy eves
prevailing winds ruffle hair
sun kissed skin burns with heat
tan lines gleam with coming night
sandy bed – island delight
