My interpretation of On Top of Spaghetti.
On top of depression,
All covered with please,
I lost my good outlook,
When somebody teased.
It rolled off my fingers,
And on to the screen,
And then my good outlook,
Turned really quite mean.
It followed me closely,
And grew meaner still,
And then my good outlook,
Was nothing but swill.
The swill was as bitter
As bitter could be,
And so the next asshole,
Got kicked in the knee.
The swill was addictive,
It seaped through my day,
So if you’re a mean one,
Stay out of my way.
I’ll give you a warning,
It’s not good to tease,
Try holding your tongue,
It might save your knees.
