A fresh triplet poem about the body, mind and spirit.

Image via Wikipedia | Body Beautiful….Dirty!

I was blessed with a beautiful body,

“Braggart!” I hear all you yell!

Yet, your body is simply sensastional,

If that’s what your given in life.

`

Embodied within your encasement,

Is everything you strive to attain.

Like Lamborghini, Maserati and Rolls Royce,

Your body, in fact, comes from the Christ.

`

Chiseled in granite like David,

My body has whipped up a frenzy,

But often I cry to my lover,

“I’ll fall like a Trajan in battle.”

`

“Take care of your body,” tells Nanna,

Whose crumbling form leaves flat.

For all of the wowsers have fallen,

Th` black sheep,

Lasts longer than that.

`

Your body,

Your temple ` your minion…

Is nothing in spite of it all,

For if you have not given everything,

Your form will NEVER stand tall.
