Millions of who-can-be-friends are out there but there can only be one friend who stays with you until the end.
Friends are raindrops from the clouds
Pouring billions as it may come
Each lip iced with sweet tongue
But in the count there could only be one.
Friends are swaying branches of a tree
Each reaching out and trying to be
But there’s only one as gentle as the wind
And a precious gift from a magic wand.
Friends are blinding hays in the farm
Mounting pieces as to the height of the sky
But there could only be one somewhere
As wonderful as the world behind.
Friends have thorns like a rose
A deafening thunder to shake one’s ears
But there’s only one out there comforting
As warm as a mother’s caressing kiss.
