Personal poetry.

Holding the twilight back

Scared of the moon

Reviling the truth

Hope daylight comes soon

Wishing the sun

Would stay a little longer

Wish the clouds would come

And the day was longer

Afraid of what the night brings

Your eyes filled with fury

I know I promised you

I wish dawn would hurry

You pull the knife out

And hold it to my arm

Time to pay for my sin

It part of the charm

I should have let the blood drip

And stain the white snow

But I didn’t let it go

But that was so long ago

With two lives on my mind

And one long night ahead

It’s to late now

To take back what I had said
