This is a poem about bugs.
I flipped the light switch and stepped onto my back porch.
A daddy long leg danced about on the vinyl ceiling. A preying mantis eyed him.
Small assassin. Bulging whites. I saw the preying mantis stab the daddy long leg.
He had his meal for the night. Victory for the green bug driven by instinct.
