My gladden heart would overflow, the happiest girl in the world I be…

But when I never hear from you, not even from the phone, your call

My sadden heart grows heavy, and tears glisten from the pain in me..

All it takes is one smile for you, to send my heart to fly

And while those tears are glistening, my heart lights up my eyes,

But I never see that smile, for you never come around,

And those tears, well they slid silently to the ground.

And the heartache that I suffer tortures me every day,

For I know that you don’t feel the same, and its really killing me,

That the love that I have is not returned by you
