All about the legendary cattle drive.

One horn longer and one horn shorter
One raised hide on a branded hindquarter
One shod steed on a cottonmouth trail
One barbed spike on a longhorn tail

One sound of thunder, one cloud of dust
One open range through a valley of rust
One rider rides and one rider leads
One saddle new in need of a kneed

One river ahead, one river to stop
One throat to quench, one head to drop
One cowboy calls all cowboy men
One thundering cloud, one start again

One trail head, one show in the distance
One long drive, one show of persistence
One count of damage, one farrier nail
One job done, one worn Chisholm Trail.
